Welcome to the Mount Allison Sexual Health Research Lab! Established in 2010 by Dr. Lisa Dawn Hamilton, the MASHLab is located in the Crabtree building (room G61) on the Mount Allison University Campus in Sackville, NB. Our goal is to examine the relationships between environmental, hormonal and psychological factors on sexual health and sexual functioning.

“Understanding monogamy: challenging assumptions with data” 
Humans are a social species, and as such, our relationships are of central importance to our lives. Whether or not   humans are a monogamous species is debated both within the academic literature and in popular culture. This         argument assumes that all humans are the same but, as with most traits, there is likely variability in individual levels of monogamy. Join Lisa Dawn as she explores her SSHRC funded research into the "monogamy spectrum."
